Mother Jones

US Military Presence Worldwide

Published July 5, 2011by Jasmin Ramsey

Mother Jones has an interesting interactive map chronicling the US’s military presence worldwide 1950-2007. What’s the only Middle Eastern country that has no official US military presence despite being surrounded on its Western and Eastern borders? Iran, of course.
